KYIPA Highlighted in KSTC Impact Report

As an initiative of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation, KYIPA works with our partner programs to accelerate innovation-driven economic development throughout the state. Collectively, we do this by supporting research-driven products and services, expanding access to capital, and developing talent.

KYIPA supports these goals by bringing together a community of inventors, attorneys, businesses, universities, nonprofits, artists, educators and tinkerers who believe in the power of intellectual property (IP) to protect the innovations developed in Kentucky.

This year we held our first in-person events including a Trademark Bootcamp in collaboration with the USPTO and SOAR in Eastern Kentucky.
